The visitor log is used to store every visitor records at one place. To begin working with visitor module, you need to first go to Configuration -> Module Configuration -> Reception Configuration and define "Visiting Purpose". Once you defined, you may now be able to record visitor logs.
Permission: This module contains four permissions.
|List Visitor Log
|Anyone with this permission can list all the visitor log
|Create Visitor Log
|Anyone with this permission can create a visitor log
|Edit Visitor Log
|Anyone with this permission can edit visitor log
|Delete Visitor Log
|Anyone with this permission can delete visitor log
To assign or change permission, visit <your_url>/configuration/permission
Below is the screenshot of the visitor log module listing all the visitor logs:
In the top right side, there are options to:
- Add new visitor log - This will open a form to add visitor log details
- Filter - This will open filter panel to filter record as per your need
- Sort By - This allows you to sort the record in ascending or descending order by supported columns
- More Option - This allows you to take print out of visitor logs or to download list of visitor logs
In the bottom left, there is option to navigate to next and previous pages. In the bottom right, there is option to set pagination i.e. number of record per page.
In every row, there are options to edit visitor log & delete visitor log.
Above is the screenshot of form to create visitor log, where you need to enter desired input. During creation, you only need to enter "Entry Time" of visitor, but you can edit it later and enter "Exit Time". Once you complete all the details, you can click on save button to store the visitor log.
