Each batch can have multiple subjects. Subject names & codes are unique to every batch.
Permission: This module contains four permissions.
|Anyone with this permission can list all the subjects
|Anyone with this permission can create a subject
|Anyone with this permission can edit subject
|Anyone with this permission can delete subject
To assign or change permission, visit <your_url>/configuration/permission
Below is the screenshot of the batch module listing all the subjects:
In the top right side, there are options to:
- Add new subject - This will open a form to add subject
- Filter - This will open filter panel to filter record as per your need
- Sort By - This allows you to sort the record in ascending or descending order by supported columns
- More Option - This allows you to take print out of subjects or to download list of subjects in PDF format
In the bottom left, there is option to navigate to next and previous pages. In the bottom right, there is option to set pagination i.e. number of record per page.
In every row of batch, multiple subjects associated with that batch are listed. With each subject, subject code, maximum class per week and other information is also shown. You can edit the subject by clicking on the edit icon or delete the subject by clicking on the delete icon. Subject which are associated with timetables or subject teachers cannot be deleted.
Above is the screenshot of form to create subject, where you need to enter desired input. Once you complete all the details, you can click on save button to store the subject. The fields is elective & has no exam will be further utilized after Exam module is released.
