The ID Card module is used to print employee ID Cards of a department. This feature can be accessed under the Employee module. To begin working with ID Card module, you need to first go to Configuration -> Module Configuration -> Academic Configuration -> ID Card Template. Here you can create ID Card templates and design them for the employee, then you may now be able to create ID Card and print it for employees of a department.



In the top right side, there are options to:

  • Add new Id Card Template - This will open a form with an employee and option to add ID Card details.
  • Sort By - This allows you to sort the record in ascending or descending order by supported columns
  • More Option - This allows you to take print out of ID Cards or to download list of Id Cards

In every row, there are options to view, edit ID Card & delete ID Card.

 

In the bottom left, there is an option to navigate to the next and previous pages. In the bottom right, there is option to set pagination i.e. number of records per page.

 

Permission: This module contains only one permission.



To assign or change permission, visit <your_url>/configuration/permission



Above is the screenshot of form to create ID Card, where you need to enter desired information of a department and ID Card template. Once you complete all the details, you can click on the print button to print the ID cards of a department.
