Vehicle Document module is used to manage and upload various vehicle documents, track its date of expiry easily. This feature can be accessed through Transport-> Document.


Permission: This module contains four permissions.

List Vehicle Document
Anyone with this permission can list all the Vehicle Document
Create Vehicle Document
Anyone with this permission can create a Vehicle Document
Edit Vehicle Document
Anyone with this permission can edit Vehicle Document
Delete Vehicle Document
Anyone with this permission can delete Vehicle Document


To assign or change permission, visit <your_url>/configuration/permission.


To begin working with Vehicle Document feature, you need to first go to Configuration -> Module Configuration -> Transport Configuration -> Vehicle Document Type. Here, you can create document types like "Insurance certificate", "Registration certificate" etc that will be used to upload documents.



Below given screen shot shows Vehicle Document with their respective details



In the top right side, there are options to: 

    Add New Vehicle Document - This will open a form to add new Vehicle Document. 

    Filter - This allows you to filter as per the available options.

    Sort By - This allows you to sort the record in ascending or descending order by supported columns.

    More Option - This allows you to take print out or to download list of Vehicle Documents

In every row, there are options to show, edit & delete Vehicle Document details.

In the bottom left, there is option to navigate to next and previous pages. In the bottom right, there is option to set pagination i.e. number of records per page.



Above is the screenshot of form to add new Vehicle Document, where you need to enter desired details. Once you complete all the details, you can click on save button to store the Vehicle Document details.
